Roundtable Presizu ya-kuntai ae yane-nheenga rupi / We need to speak it in our own language: writing Indigenous Art Histories at RAP 25
Convened by Fernanda Pitta and Denilson Baniwa, the seminar will delve into the writing of art history from Indigenous perspectives and interrogate possible orientations that help address the multivocality of artistic creations that circulate on the art market and are held in private collections and public museums. The discussion encompasses Indigenous epistemologies and the writing of art history, in dialogue with anthropology, curatorship, and museology.

The Endling, intervention series
This series of interventions will involve performance, procession and song, taking place in Stellenbosch. We will be walking the Endling between heritage sites with songs ending in performances and a conversation series.

"It came from the archive," concert series
Join us in February 2025 for two concerts that explore the relationship between the human, the more-than-human and its place in time. Cara Stacey composed a series of acousmatic pieces drawing inspiration from the Hidden Years Music Archive at Stellenbosch University. She will be joined by Keenan Ahrends and Matthijs van Dyk.
